Prep+
Pond Prep+ is the complete
and concentrated conditioner for Koi ponds and water gardens.
Pond Prep+ removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Pond Prep+
converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed
by the ponds biofilter. Pond Prep+ is essential for pond cycling
to remove ammonia and nitrite poisoning as the pond natural bio-mass
is developing. Pond Prep+ detoxifies nitrites and nitrates which
allows the biofilter to remove them more effectively. Pond Prep+
is a true water conditioner in that it also detoxifies any heavy
metals found in the tap water at the typical concentration levels
found in municipal water system. In addition, Pond Prep+ adds
Fish Slime Coat Protectant to the water which aids fish to heal
from wounds and provides additional protection at times of high stress
such as seasonal changes from winter to spring, fall to winter,
excessive water changes and normal pond cleaning routines. Prond
Prep+ is completely safe for all aquatic life as well as plants,
birds, cats, dogs, etc that drink from the pond.
Application
Rate is 5 oz per 1000 gallons.
Pond Prep+
is used in the start up of new ponds as well as established ponds.
For new pond, apply Pond Prep+ per above application rate for the size
of your pond. The water will be safe for aquatic life after 20
minutes. For an established pond apply Pond Prep+ per the above
application rate for the amount of water that you are replacing in the
pond after a water change or any time that the pond is being refilled.
As with all
of Koi and Pond products, it is best to fill a bucket with pond water,
dilute the proper amount of Pond Prep+ for your pond in the bucket of
pond water, still well, and distribute the solution evenly around the
pond.
